Inside Rocky Mountain National Park
Inside Rocky Mountain National Park
There is no lodging inside Rocky Mountain National Park, unless you're looking to camp inside the national park, which we highly recommend! Splitting the park up into east and west (the Continental Divide being the middle) it should be noted that there is only one front country campground on the western side of the park. There are five campgrounds, including Aspenglen, Glacier Basin, Longs Peak, Moraine Park and Timber Creek. The largest and most popular is Moraine Park Campground located just a few miles southeast of the Beaver Meadows Visitor Center. There are also plenty of backcountry campsites. Depending on the time of year it is highly recommended you make a reservation, which can be made up to six months in advance.
