Rocky Mountain is full of long wide valleys carved out by glaciers millions of years ago. The most popular valleys include Moraine Park, Kawuneeche Valley, and Fall River Canyon. One of our favorite ways to see these places is during the sunrise and sunset. Moraine Park is an ideal place to catch the morning glow as it begins to envelop the park, while the Kawuneeche Valley provides an ideal place to catch a sunset. Fall River Canyon, though only explored by the most adventurous and daring hikers, can be enjoyed from Fall River Canyon Overlook on Trail Ridge Road, where only a short hike is required.
